Ive chosen this machine because it is an excellent upgrade from my ‘starter never sewn before’ Brother A16. Yes, the slightly more expensive ones called to me!!! However this one fell into my budget and ticked all I need. It’s a perfect up grade from complete novice to intermediate with room to progress. What a difference! I’m quilting a medium batted double quilt and it’s a dream, the walking foot from the free quilting set is amazing, the extra large table attachment is supporting more of the hang over, all I’m doing is guiding. I’ve not had this machine long ( five days) but so far my favourite feature are the automatic scissors!! They save time and thread where I’m not pulling the quilt to cut the bobbin thread. I’ve only played with the embroidery and letters but already I'm having ideas for upgrading finishes in my projects. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
