Ia m so glad I ignored all the cheaper alternatives and stuck with the Nikon brand as this lens is so fast and sharp. Focuses instantly and is even amazing in low light. I took all the review images handheld which lets you see how good the VR is. Yes its not the cheapest lens on the market, but its certainly worth every penny. I highly recommend this lens!
