We have three Photinia Red Robin trees that were planted seven years ago; upright and staked. Unfortunately, over the last two years, two of them have started to progressively lean. We asked a tree surgeon for advice and he told us to gradually pull them upright using a strong stake to tension them with a rope. As we have three solid upright Birch trees nearby, we were able to use Ratchet Straps connected to some car axle straps around each tree. Every two weeks we are carefully tensioning the straps with amazing ease and look forward to upright trees in the future - very happy with the straps. We also bought the 10 metre version as it was cheaper than the 8 metre version. However we received the 8 metre straps, although in hindsight the 8 metre straps were more suitable, so no complaints at all.
