Had trouble getting hold of charcoal in my local area and was looking for a decent brand to be able to cope with low & slow and high temperature’s to bbq on my Kamado Joe. Had a chat with Joe on Twitter and he suggested using his Dalby Firewood. Quick delivery but only just got round to being able to test on a cook. Well I’ve just cooked on the KJ with the slo-roller in a thunderstorm and can’t fault Dalby, charcoal maintained 120c throughout and then bumped to 250c for my crackling (was cooking wild boar loin). Needed to find a company that could supply all year round with a good consistent product in the U.K. Looks like I have found my answer
