This is my first experience with poles so I wanted good quality without a hefty price tag and this is exactly what these are. I only discovered Wild Ginger’s review of these on YouTube after I bought them so didn’t realise she had some input with the design which only makes me more happy with my decision which I must admit was mostly made because I’ve recently moved close to Helvellyn lol however did want carbon poles, just didn’t think I’d find a decent set in my price range. A little sore on the inside of the left thumb after first use so need to try a few different holding positions out but they certainly did make the world of difference and I’m super-happy with my decision to invest in these.
