Assembling the Solo was not difficult since you have well written instructions along with a video tutorial see the steps. No problems putting it together with one person. When it comes to placing onto a Trailpax roof rack and fastening it becomes quite a bit more timely. I strongly recommend a ratcheting wrench because the area is very difficult to reach at times even with the front roof hatches removed. I was able to lift the tent using a portable winch attached to my ceiling in my garage. I used small pvc piping in between the tent frame and the roof rack which made it easy to move the tent back and forth during placement and they were easy to remove. Note do not center the tent on your roof from side to side because you won’t be able to use your side ladder entrance especially if you have rotorpax heavy duty reinforced sides. The ladder when hooked up will not clear the Trailpax roof racks. It’s necessary to place the edge of the RTT even with the drivers side to make room for the ladder to sit stable on the ground. Other than that the tent works great…you might consider placing some interior loops on the ceiling stitch area to run paracord to hang a few things.
