Cuts are fast and weld ready immediately. Will never grab a hot piece of steel with this saw. I love working with metal but hated cutting with an abrasive saw, this saw takes all that away. Solid cast base that is accurate and true. Cuts wood just as easy so no need to swap saws if your project includes wood. The only thing this saw needs is a bolt down point which the updated version has.
