Great communication both from owners and Herdwick, the online information pack was useful, easy key box access and the apartment was spotlessly clean, in fact, everything appeared new, so stylish and loved the little touches like plants and pictures, making it feel very homely. It was very cosy, so much so we were trying to turn down the heating at one point but it wasn't even on! Loved the location, just behind Main Street, easy walk to the Co-op, Chippy, Birchwood Café and The Crown, all of which we'd highly recommend, delicious food at all of them and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Also only half hour drive to Kendal and just over an hour to Caledonian Park discount designer village at Gretna.
