Lovely location, village green was perfect for short morning and evening walks and play sessions. Local shop very short drive away perfect for a morning coffee. Everything you need in the cottage for a great stay. Cottage is old and as mentioned head room (yes I banged my head a few times) is low, garden is a bit smaller than expected but it was nice sitting out in the sun. Only ‘complaint’ from me is I struggled to find areas to let the dog off leash properly and a lot of the ramblers walk ways are over grown or ‘closed’. Did realise we had the forest a short drive away towards the end of the holiday though so would use that a lot more next time!! All in all, a very pleasant stay, all modernised interior, everything was really clean and new and it’s kept to a high standard. It’s a great place to unwind and de-stress without a doubt.
