Fab little jet, great sounding powerful edf unit...... BUT.....its really hard to see at distance, so I've put 'non scale' bright orange oratrim on top of the wings so that I can see its orientation in the sky....it virtually disappeared a few times on the maiden flight !!! The marked c of g is ok but at the back of what you'd fly with, mine was a bit pitchy so I moved the battery forward a bit and it felt much more stable. It will easily fly on larger batteries, im using 2900 35c 4s and the extra weight helps with putting the balance point a bit further forward and gives a 5 minute flight with the batteries coming back at about 30 to 35 %. It flies really well on half throttle and is quite quick at that....but really gets a move on at full throttle. Lastly RATES.....its really sensitive to ailerons....I've gone right down to %35 and expo at %65 for smooth scale like flight. The elevator is large....all moving tailplane.....so I've put mine down to 35% up 50% down to feel nice through the slow rolls and inverted flight and 50% expo means its not too twitchy. If your elevator doesn't sit level at the neutral point, remove the bottom section where you access the edf unit and the elevator push rod can be adjusted via a grubb screw. Hand launch is easy, nose slightly up and just a gentle throw....it doesn't need an Olympic javelin launch. Do all that and you'll have a drama free maiden with a great little jet.....enjoy.
