After years of rowing in wet weather with Tilley hats (and suffering cascading water off brim when moving forward/wet head after a while) I’m delighted to finally have a hat that’s waterproof, however 🤔 I quickly discovered that in any wind keeping it on means pulling the forehead cord tight, which after a while starts to feel like a tourniquet (and leads to overheating) so I punched a couple of holes in the inner Black lining, added a pair of eyelets, spare (long shoelace) & a cord grip and voilà the perfect hat 🥳 see pics for details 🙏
