This jacket covers right down to my butt, no cold air gets inside, it's very warm, got caught in the rain yesterday, stayed warm and dry, only my hands were cold, (winter gloves are next on my list) it is a bit heavy and stiff, but fine once it's on, plenty of pockets, I like that the hood is clipped on at the back, no flapping around, I recommend this jacket.
