Thank you for everything you do. With the mundane routine things of arranging and cutting flowers you would think its just another day of doing business and earning a living. You think you're JUST a flower store, but youre more than that. I have a different level of appreciation for you, now that I have known the feeling of loss, heartbreak, happiness and love. Keep doing what you do. This is the thank you lettter we received because we sent them flowers from your store. Dear X and X, This afternoon our office received the beautiful floral arrangement. When I picked up the card and saw it had come from you both and WIZE, I was genuinely touched. Thank you. The gesture meant more than you may realise. I spent the final 36 hours by Mum’s side and was with her right through to the end. On the evening of 24 January, I arranged for our long-term Anglican Minister in Evans Head, and a close family friend, to pray with her. Mum was fully alert and aware. I witnessed her ask for, and receive, forgiveness in that moment. It was deeply moving. Afterwards, she seemed to settle into a profound peace. Facing death so directly leaves a lasting mark. It changes your perspective. My parents set an exceptional example for all of us — faith, strength, humility and service. I work every day to honour that standard. They are now both gone from this world, but their influence remains with me in everything I do. As hard as these past weeks have been, they have brought absolute clarity. Time is short. What we do now echoes for generations. Mum’s funeral will be held on 20 February in Evans Head — our home port. When I return, I will be even more focused and determined to make every day count — in life, in family, and in building my company with purpose. Thank you again for your kindness and support. Warm regards, X
