It probably wouldn't fit as well in my pocket if it wasn't for the curve but it fits really well. I love how it snaps and locks my revolver in my like my other vedder holsters hold my other pistols. I really like how it covers the hammer so when I draw it I don't have to worry about it getting caught on my pants.
