I’ve had nothing but problems with these JBA upper control arms. The biggest issue? They keep cracking—plain and simple. I’m not doing extreme rock crawling or anything crazy—just regular driving with a moderate lift—and somehow these arms still manage to fail.
First set cracked within a few months. Got a replacement , and guess what? That one cracked too. I torque everything to spec and don’t abuse my truck, so there’s no excuse. It’s clearly a design or materials issue.
For a product that’s supposed to support lifted trucks, this kind of structural failure is unacceptable. If your control arms are cracking under normal conditions, how can anyone trust them off-road?
Save yourself the money and frustration. These are not built to last.
