Although the weather was not kind, we had a lovely stay at cragwood Country hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming, especially to our cocker spaniel Willow. Stacey showed us to our room and Grace was our waitress in the bar and breakfast room. Food was delicious. Only complaint I had was on arrival day, it was raining so we decided to stay in and eat lunch in the bar area. I ordered our lunches and requested 2 sausages for willow which were on the menu and was told NO so we had a hungry dog that evening despite us taking some of her own food. As a dog friendly hotel I was shocked to be told no to my request. Susan smith
