If you understand how these work and what the exact application is then buy this hinge. There is not another method which works as easily. I have used these on multiple table flaps, all of the same design, and so I made a routing jig which makes the installation a breeze. I use this hinge in combination with piano hinges either side so that only one hinge is needed per flap.
