When I opened this I was struck by how strongly it smelt like coffee. I do not like coffee so I had my doubts about it. I used Elaine's master recipe, the one with into a cold tin, into a cold oven. The first time I substituted 50g of flour for 50g of this. It tasted of coffee to me so the birds had a good week. The next time I substituted 25g of flour and it is delicious!. It tastes like the sort of bread I would ask where it was from or what flour they used. It makes the bread just taste delicious but you can't work out why.
