We're using this sensor in our automated cell culture microscope. We tuned the objective and tube lens to have a projected image plane resolution of 1.5um to match 1.55 um sensor pitch of the camera and images are really good.
The image is of my cheek cells. You can clearly see the nuclei of the cells. Slight chromatic aberration is caused by the objective, not the camera.
