Perfect for Summer. I have a shorter pair of Salomon shorts but wanted something longer for my chunky thighs and with no liner. Not only do these fit the bill, they also have a big of a flap by the side (nothing really exposing, just like an overlay along the side). The rear pocket is what fascinates me; I’d say if you have a phone bigger than 6” or a phablet it may be too tight or not fit. But under that is a small vertical pocket that can fit your keys, so you can add your keys and phone and secure them in the same rear pocket. I didn’t realise this until the second time I wore them. The key pocket is small but I managed to fit my three keys in without stabbing myself in the butt and was also able to fit in my phone.
