Well, I finally got my first F-Style mandolin! I've had an A-style for years. Dad sent me his before he died, but he didn't consider the handling at all. By the time it arrived it was absolutely destroyed. But I saw a McNeela mandolin in an advertisement and thought to check it out. The price was right, and the rest is history. I was a little concerned about the shipping, after all it was coming from Ireland to Alaska. But it arrived in good time and in perfect condition. Once I got this thing humidified, the sound is what I hoped for. Do I know how to play? Nope! I dabble around. I've played guitar since a little tike. (Well I try anyway.) But I'm watching several video lessons online and enjoying it so much. I suppose it's true, never to old to learn something new. LOL. I'm 69. Thank you McNeela for a beautiful instrument!
