My class loved this box of resources, although they found the games slightly challenging as they are still learning to read, they enjoyed building the farm together and sharing ideas, changing the farm around and getting to work on it as a reward when they moved up levels academically, showed respect in the class, etc. They created stories about the farm and items on the farm, wrote sentences and drew pictures, and painted art about the farm in the classroom. The students made huge connections with what we built and what we see in our farming community. Cows, sheep, tractors, hay, goats, crop fields etc.
