I bought these for myself. I wanted something simple: no chronograph, no extra dials, no sporty look.
The face is clean. Roman numeral only at 12, the rest are simple markers. The center has a light texture, so it looks nicer than the price. Day and date at 3 o’clock don’t get in the way. Gold-tone case and leather strap — classic, not loud.
Best part is Eco-Drive. If there’s light, they keep running. You don’t think about the battery. For everyday watches, that’s the main reason to get them.
