I've been in the search for a casual blazer to wear for non-work purposes, and I really wanted this one to be the one... but sadly, it is not my ideal fit.
To start off with the positives, this is a really nicely constructed blazer. It is not see-through at all and does not feel cheap. It's quite heavy but by no means is it a winter coat (would be nice for spring/fall though). The nude color is a really nice neutral color.
Now, for the negatives... First of all, it is way too long. I'm not tall, but I'm also not very petite, and this blazer hits me around mid-thigh, which personally does not look flattering. The models have it hitting around the crotch area (for lack of a better description), which would've been ideal, but they are also taller than I am and might have a longer torso. I could've sized down to an XS but was hoping to grab a S so I could also layer chunkier tops underneath. Looking at the measurements though, it does not seem like sizing down would've helped tremendously. This was definitely a lack of foresight on my end because the measurements listed for the length do indeed match the blazer I received, but it would be nice to have a petite/shorter option (not looking for cropped).
It is also way too wide. When buttoned up, it fits fine (still a lot of room but it doesn't look as weird). However, I mainly intended to wear it unbuttoned, and it flares out in an unflattering manner at the bottom, giving me a triangular shape.
This blazer does come with shoulder pads, which was surprising to me because it was not mentioned in the description (whereas other blazers do mention them if they have it or not). I think it is making the blazer sit weird on my shoulders.
If you have a similar frame as me but like the extremely oversized fit, then this might not be a bad choice. However, for a more fitted look, this blazer might only look good for taller people.
