I'm really enjoying these apricots. If the first time I've come across wild apricots, let alone moutain ones, but my experience of these is that they have a purity about them that you don't normally get (certainly not in a bog standard sulfured apricot but also not in the unsulfured apricots I've been seeing for years) and I'm convinced that wild food has a greater nutritional and health benefit that cultivated food. I sometimes just snack on one or two but often add some to what I'm calling "breakfast cake mix" - I basically just mix up some superfoods like cinnamon, cacao, spirulina, bee pollen, ghee, egg etc etc (I normally include some bicarb too as I like the flavour it produces, but obviously don't add any flour) and then maybe some dried or fresh fruit which is where these apricots would come into it - photo attached - I know if doesn't look great, but it tastes great!
