I'm 28 and have struggled with acne on and off since I was a teen. I've been on everything under the sun over the years, including Accutane a long time ago, but I've recently been dealing with a new type of stubborn hormonal acne since going off the pill. I spent over a year trying different topical products, including custom prescriptions from Rory, Curology, Hers, and my own dermatologist - they would all work fine for a few weeks but then the acne would come back in full force. Finally I was prescribed the highest dose of Spironolactone medication. It worked great at first, but my progress started to plateau about 5 months in, plus I was still experiencing huge painful flare-ups around my time of the month. So I decided to give probiotics a shot. I started taking Seed supplements and doing the entire Phyla routine, and 2 months later and I can see a HUGE difference in my skin!! Better than any of the other topical creams I've used. I still have a long way to go on my jawline/neck, but I'm hoping at this rate I can talk to my derm about going off of the Spiro pills in a few months. My skin has always been suuuper oily, and that seems to be more under control as well. Seems like eating vegan + probiotics + drinking lots of water & tea is finally doing the trick. Just ordered my 2nd bottle!!
