Recommended as a getting started setup and they've nailed that. Shopping around I found best price for turntable with preamp and speaker with amplifier on SHS site. Great quality products are combined saving a good wedge of cash. The sound is great, lovely quality bass with no buzz at all. Turntable is smooth automatic and looks great. I'm absolutely happy with this purchase, cheers
