Looks exactly as it does in the pics, as it is felt backed it was easier to fit and cut for a DIY project, scissors can be used easily. Get the tape to stick one end down whilst you fit. We used it for a narrow galley kitchen and it's perfect. Warmer underfoot than stick down tiles we had previously.
