If you try this blade I bet you'll never buy another abrasive cutoff disc. This blade cuts very fast, with minimum burring, minimal heat, nice straight cuts. The blade CUTS rather than wearing its way through so, yes the work gets hot but almost no color change from oxidation. And, because it CUTS, the burring is minimal. The blade doesn't flex so the cut stays straight. It's fast, ~6 seconds to cut a piece of 2"x2"x1/8" square tubing. If you have a busy shop I think you'll find this blade pays for itself in one week from faster cutting and better fitup.
