I bought this showerproof jacket as a lightweight coat, to firstly use on a holiday in March/April when the weather and temperature is unpredictable. It stood up to quite heavy persistent rain for which I was very grateful - keeping dry on a day out. The hood fits well and stays on and it's roomy enough across the shoulders and arms to take it on and off without difficulty. I am very pleased with it.
