I'm happy with this product though I have not had to use it in earnest yet. I bedded it down on the hull with a big wadge of resin and it looks just fine. But there is one issue, which is the size of the outlet at 1.125" or 28.5mm. This is apparently a common US size, but not so common in the UK. TBH I had not checked this detail as I assumed the pump would just connect to the existing drain pipe, but no. I eventually sourced a few cm of correct size pipe (from Bosun's Locker, South Queensferry) after spending quite a bit of time online and trawling local suppliers. The pipe enabled me to attach an adapter and connect pump to existing drain pipe. While that completed the connection, the adapter means that the drain pipe now has one narrow point so the output of 1100 gph is unlikely to be achieved. I could have replaced the entire drain pipe but that would be a bigger job and would only transfer the problem to the through-hull fitting where an adapter would be needed. Or a replacement fitting. So, much more work than anticipated. One star lost.
