No regrets! I was nervous about buying this style based on other reviews, as I don't exactly have "dainty" calves and ankles. I'm so glad I did! Out of the box they were quite stiff and rather tight on my feet. But, having read the care and break in advice, I wore them around the house first for a few hours. I also wore them to work know I wouldn't have to walk any distances. Within a week, they were breaking in beautifully and are becoming more comfortable with each wear! I really appreciate the wide toe box with the supportive instep and arches. I don't find them terribly hard to put on, thanks to the pull tabs, but getting them off can be a beast! I'm hoping that gets better with time too. I'm a US size 9 in most brands and got the AU 6. I probably could have gone up a half size for more width, but I am happy with my normal size. Overall very pleased and glad I finally pulled the trigger on these!
