We are very happy with our shoe cabinet so far. It feels very solid and the components are a good quality. In particular, the sloping shelve design is much better than the design of the one it replaced where the shoes are stored in upright 'pockets'. The compartments on that design kept getting stuck and breaking, and the shoes fell down the back. My only criticism is that the doors feel a little flimsy in comparison to the rest of the piece, but they close properly and look good. As these things go, it was relatively easy to put together.
