Setup was quick and painless in the SmartThings app, and it’s been rock-solid with my Zigbee devices. I’m also using it with Matter, including Matter Bridges and a few native Matter devices, and everything has stayed responsive and dependable for automations and daily control. Pairing has been straightforward, and once connected the devices have remained stable with no random disconnects.
I don’t use Z-Wave, but as a Zigbee + Matter hub this has been a great, low-fuss choice—highly recommended if you want reliability without constant tinkering.
