We usually don't cover our dog - German shepherds love all weathers and I didn't want a coat to overheat him. However when it's pouring down or the ground is waterlogged we got that fed up of damp towels smelling in the house that we thought we would give it a go. I got him the 65 size which is a snug fit but gives him all round movement and can be customised with the toggles at the tail end and neck. I like the fact that his undercarriage and feathering on his legs are kept dry. It's pretty easy to get his legs through and I like the top zip. Elastic a little tight on the front legs - just be careful you don't let their dew claw get caught when guiding the leg through. Able to put his harness on top as I fasten the lead at the chest and this did not effect the movement of the raincoat. Would definately recommend!
