As a former vet nurse I am aware of the challenge of getting booties to stay on dogs' feet. Pursuaded by positive reviews I ordered a set of the Ruffwear boots as my dog needs foot protection on our walks due to allergies. She quickly got used to wearing them and they all stayed on and didn't twist or rotate. The only downside was that one of the boots rubbed her skin over her dew claw, so the added protection of a sock is required, which solved the problem. The vibram sole seems to give a good grip and the velcro fastener is easy to use but it is a faff getting four socks and four boots on before every walk!
