As an absolute novice knitter I have to say that knitting is a lot trickier than I thought it would be! It took me a lot of YouTube tutorials and practice before I felt able to tackle this beanie. Now that I've mastered the basics however, I feel ready to tackle anything! The beanie itself is very cute, the wool is lush and the colour perfect. The downside for me is the seam, it just would be a much nicer beanie if it was knit in the round without a seam...or perhaps I just need to practice my stitching technique. In any case, it was a good beginner project 🙂
