Fitted a Transit Mk6 side window and sliding door window (with sliding opener section). Total time: 2 hours for both sides once you’re set up. Including coffee break between sides. Tools: drill, jigsaw, making tape (to avoid jigsaw damaging paint on outside), pencil and a straight edge. Follow Van Pimps video guide. In drilled smaller 12mm holes in 3 places on corners to avoid snapping the jigsaw blade (zero blades broken!) It’s easiest to drill from the inside, but cut from the outside as the shore of the jigsaw won’t get tight enough to the edge. The quality of the kit is very good. I’ve fitted three vans out before with cheaper windows, this is definitely the best yet. Plenty of sealant in one tube to go all the way around, so be generous. Make the bead as round and high as possible to clear the edge trim you’ve applied around the hole. Push it up into place, align top and bottom. Use gorilla tape (ordinary gaffer tape isn’t strong enough) to pull the edges in so it’s flush and to stop it sliding down.u Definitely recommended.
