Having recently offered to rehome a hedgehog i was desperate to know if once released into my garden it stayed around. Having already owned a wildlife trail camera, but one that you had to fit with 8 double A batteries and wait until the next day to be able to review any video captured. Although my device was good at the time things have moved on, so it was nice to try out my new WiFi wildcam 3. It looks very robust and a decent compact size. It was fantastic now to be able to link it to an app and receive real time motion alerts, enabling me to view and record the hedgehog live. The first thing I noticed was the clarity of the camera. With my old trail cam I always had a glow from the infrared night lights, but with this wildcam 3 the night recording was crystal clear with no infrared glow, so I was actually able to visible see the individual markings of the hedgehog to know if I'm seeing the one I was rehoming or another that visits the garden. The magnetic bracelet that came with the camera was a great addition, as I was able to put together a small wooden support that I screwed the bracket to and able to position around the garden and then quick fix the camera to it. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone and I will be buying another to be able to cover two locations at the same time.
