I stained exterior of mine(with bird friendly paint as it’s in an exposed location). Solar panel works very well. Battery power not gone below 98% in first 2 weeks. Camera quality is excellent and I had a blue tit investigate the afternoon I had put it up 😀. Confident of getting some good videos of nest building and chick raising
