I have been impressed with The NatureSpy Wildcam 2, I have it set up in the garden and video Foxes which visit the garden most nights. It works well linked to either my smartphone or tablet via wifi which gives me the ability to control it from my armchair. I have it connected to the optional Solar panel which I think makes a big difference, you can just leave it out indefinitely and it carries on working.
