The shoe is roomy, so it can easily accommodate a thicker sock if you have cold feet in the winter. This model doesn't have a removable insole, so if you have thin or low-volume feet, I recommend purchasing an insole to better fill out the shoe since, as I mentioned, it's a roomy model. The waterproof wings are fantastic and almost unnoticeable when you lace up the shoe. I recommend not tying the laces too tightly, even if you have thin feet and ankles, because they distort the shoe and make them a clown-like shoes. The color is lovely. Perhaps the only thing I don't like is that the red on the heel isn't the same red as the rings that make it easier to put on the shoe. But great, GREAT shoes.
