The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because I had such high expectations based on the advertising. The cleanser itself is alright, it is a gentle formula for having salicylic acid in it. I find that I have to use more then instructed to get it to foam up on my entire face meaning I will be running out of it sooner then expected. I have been using it for about 2 weeks and have not noticed that much difference. It did bring some of my hormonal acne (which is the hardest to treat) up to the surface but many other cleansers do that as well. All in all I think the amount of the active ingredient was not enough for my skin personally. I think this can be great for someone with acne grade 1-2 (some open and closed comedones) but not so great for under the skin inflamed cystic type acne. I will not be rebuying this particular product but I still would like to try the serum from this brand to see the difference between the wash off formula and something that’s going to stay on the skin throughout the day/night.
