“This mascara was wonderfully glossy when I first purchased it, although a little smudge-y for a "waterproof" mascara. A few weeks later and even though I keep the lid on super tight the product has dried out considerably - it goes on flaky and sometimes bits flake into my eyes during the day. As another reviewer mentioned, this product will smudge a little but also somehow is difficult to remove at night. I have sensitive skin so use an ultra-gentle cleanser - a stronger make-up remover may do the job better. Of the preservative-free/natural mascaras I have tried, this one is one of the better ones (only because it doesn't smudge as badly as some and that is my main mascara issue) but I know there must be a superior product out there. Next I will try an Eye of Horus and a Hanami mascara so stay tuned!”
“I bought this mascara after my previous Adore one ran out. While it makes my lashes look good when you first put it on, I find it smudges off by about four hours later, leaving me with dark marks under my eyes. Then, even with using makeup remover plus washing my face at night I found the mascara really hard to get off from my undereyes. Really disappointed at the waste of money as I won't be using it for everyday use.”
“At first I thought it was too dry but realised that this mascara needs 2-3 coats. I love that it works this way compared to other mascaras that have SO much product on the wand, resulting in clumpy gluggy lashes. I love that it's natural & long lasting. My only criticism is the boring, unappealing packaging.”
