“The bar smells great and was great for my oily hair. However, I found I needed to use a lot of product in order for it to lather and be able to move the product through my hair. The bar is also very soft, which makes it difficult to use with there is less than a quarter left. I ended up needing to turn it into liquid shampoo.”
“I purchased this because of the 5* reviews, however the bar just doesn't lather up for me. To the point where I've gone through 2.5 shampoo bars whilst only getting through 1/3 of this conditioner bar. I have to REALLY scrub it into my hair to get anything off and by that stage I'm matting my hair instead of conditioning it. I have used other Ethique conditioner bars and had very different results.”
“Before I purchased this bar for oily hair I read all the reviews. What the 5* reviews say is all true for me. Why 3* from me then? What the excellent reviews don't say is that the bar is far too soft and inclined to form a sludgy mess. I've kept it on a soap drainer in the open air and away from any water source. Four days after use it's still very soft and more product than I need transfers to my hand when I pick it up. Harden up!”
“Absolutely love this shampoo bar. Not only does it actually help control some of the oiliness of my hair it also left my hair healthy and sstrong. The bar lasted for approx 4 months using it twice a week.
