“I can't recall reading any negative reviews about Dr Bronner's so was excited to try it but I didn't like it and won't buy again (tried peppermint and almond). It is my first castile soap experience so I'm not sure how it compares to other castile soap products. First the positive, the peppermint smells nice (I really didn't like the smell of the almond) and has a nice brief tingly sensation. It also cleans well, just as a soap should. If you want to try Dr Bronner's Liquid Soap I would suggest buying the small size, in case like me you don't end up liking it. Also the peppermint is nice if you like the tingly sensation some peppermint products leave (it reminded me of Nioxin shampoo). Now the negative, it doesn't foam well and I found that I had to use a fair bit to get it to foam even on a bath sponge. This for me contradicted one of the recommendations for this product which suggests that you only need a small amount of product. This soap also leaves a weird sensation, like film on the skin, straight after application and even after washing off with water, which goes away not long after drying. I also tried Dr Bronner's as a foaming soap, diluted in a foaming dispenser and again, I found it not to foam well and to feel "funny" on the skin.”
“Awesome castille with the best smell. I use this on my 3 year old after swimming lessons and it takes away that manky chlorine smell and cleanses his skin safely.”
“Picked this up in the winter sale as I had only tried the Lavender Soaps by Dr Bronner's and this one did not disappoint. The scent is really nice and works well.”
