Marigold Hydrating Creme Reviews

I think when it comes to the smell and texture, you'll either love it or you won't. The smell was a little odd to me, didn't hate it but didn't love it. The cream itself was almost kind of spongy in texture, which threw me a little bit. Overall, it's still a good product (soaks in quickly, doesn't cause break outs or make my skin react) but probably wouldn't be first in my line up.

Received this as part of the winter beauty box. It has a very nice balmy moisturiser hybrid texture and sinks into the skin quickly leaving a slightly greasy residue. Unfortunately, the scent on this is so strong I wont continue to use it on my face. It smells very marigoldy, which is unfortunately not a good smell. A little like citronella, with parsley mixed in. I will however use it as a foot cream since it does seem quite moisturising and then I wont have to smell it!

I've been using this moisturiser for a couple of years now, once you get used to the difference in how it's applied compared to standard moisturisers (i.e., you use a small amount, add water to the product on your skin to help it spread) you'll be amazed at the results you get with using such little product, and with how long a tub lasts! (for me, I can make it go about 4 months with day and night use). Smells lovely with a light floral/herbal scent, provides the moisture that my skin needs without being heavy or greasy, absorbs easily so that makeup can be applied over the top during the day. I have fairly sensitive skin and I haven't had any issues with this moisturiser. I've tried the Mukti sensitive daily moisturiser, which is fine in terms of sensitivity but I found I needed to use a lot of the product to get the same hydration as the marigold creme, and so it didn't last nearly as long. I like that the marigold creme comes in a glass tub rather than a bottle with pump dispenser which is less ideal for recycling. Also, I think you can return your empty clean containers back to Mukti for recycling/reusing :)

Don't be put off by the colour, this moisturiser is amazing. The smell reminds me of the Australian bush in my childhood. A gentle yet exhilarating scent. Provides amazing moisture to dry skin without any residue. I love this moisturiser in the colder months especially to keep my skin smooth, supple and clear. Definitely a favourite!!!

This would have to be my most favorite skin care item in the world!! I've been using it for about 15yrs!! I keep some in my hand bag, my work desk, my bathroom, and beside my bed. It's a perfect hand / cuticle cream. A night face cream. A dry foot skin cream. In winter especially, as an all over body cream, when our skin is at it's driest

The smell was interesting at the start but I cannot argue with the way my skin is feeling. I have slightly sensitive combination skin and this product has been working wonders. I'm addicted to how good my skin looks and feels. 100% worth it.

Love this on my sensitive and combination skin. Use it on face at night and on my neck, décolletage and back ( where I get dry patches and eczema). Works really well.
