“I bought this mascara specifically because it was vegan, assuming that it would be of lesser quality, but, like a big dirty hippy, I was willing to protect all the bunnies and kittens regardless. However, I was pleasantly surprised! It is a fantastic mascara and you don't feel like you're lowering your standards just to support a vegan product. The brush is different, in the sense that it looks like a black, spikey banana, and I initially put clumps on my lashes and panicked and possibly swore. But then I kept at it and found that I could get a really nice even spread that is actually the opposite of clumpy and lengthens my lashes nicely. So, persist with the odd banana brush! The product doesn't smudge and even when I'm lazy and don't wash it off at night, I'm barely rocking panda eyes in the morning - it's more of a cleopatra after a night of clubbing' kind of vibe, which is fine and a bit cool. I definitely recommend this mascara. I'm converted! And yay for happy pandas and other cute furry animals!”
