“I have previously been using a Juju size 1, which I love. However, after having a baby I needed to upsize. Didn't think too much about it and bought this size 2 Toms from Chemist Warehouse. Not all cups are created equal! The shape is a bit too circular and doesn't feel very comfortable. And without added grip, I agree with Samantha, it is difficult to take out. Going to try the Juju in size 2 instead and see how it compares! The sterilising container is a great idea though.”
“I have bought a size 2 from the supermarket as I have accidentally flushed my organic cup into the toilet… I was having trouble to insert it, thought it might be too big, I went back and bought a size 1, still having trouble with it, wondering if it’s the material? My old organic cup was so much better… 2 starts is for the microwave case, that’s probably the only item I’m satisfied unfortunately.”
“I’ve used different kinds of cups and this one by far is the most comfortable. I love that it comes in a little sanitising box which is so easy to use.
The rim is a little wider than I was used to so took a bit of practice to get the hang of it but in general a really good product”
“Maybe it’s just me but I had the hardest time using this cup. No one looks forward to their period but mine was made even less so knowing I had this cup to use. I purchased this cup because of the easy cleaning case. I’ve used many cups before but my problem was sanitising them (I’d forget about them boiling away on the stove and melt the cup). I have never had a problem using other cups. So I don’t know what it is about this cup but I have huge trouble inserting it. Then when I finally do, it won’t open. And I have to go through the same torturous ordeal again and again. After months of really struggling every period, I’m going back to another brand. I was hoping I could make it work but it’s just doing my head in.”
“I was looking at my options for a menstrual cup for a while. I have used TOM's tampons in the past, and love them as a brand, so when they released this menstrual cup with an easy-to-sterilise container, I thought it looked the most user friendly for first time users. It comes with a great booklet with instructions (though I recommend watching Youtube videos too! That gave me some handy tricks to get it out), sterilising using the container is so easy and discrete. Easy to insert and so comfortable. My favourite part about this product (and all menstrual cups) is that I can use it during the night. It's the most comfortable sleep I've had while on my period ever.”
“I love period cups and have saved so much money using one! No more tampons. So much better for the environment and this one comes with its own steriliser!”
“Most comfortable cup I’ve used! It’s easy to forget it’s in.
Only complaint is the quality of the sanitiser container. The hinge on the container was misformed resulting in the lid falling off. Not a huge issue as the lid needs to be open slightly when sanitising. Other than that, I would definitely purchase again.”
“Loved everything about this cup except the concept of the 'finger dents' to grab and "break the air seal" to be able to remove the cup easily to empty etc. Im not sure if I got the wrong size- (I got a number 2 because Im in my forties and have had kids) but I could only barely reach and "follow the 'dangly bit" let alone get 2 fingers or a thumb and finger!!! in up to the 'finger dents' to squeeze the cup to release the seal to extract easily! "Do not pull on the long bit to get out" it says...women have pelvises. ......um aside from needing to pretty much fist myself to get this thing out the rest is great. Lasts 8 hours easy. Lasted much longer than that too- for reasons mentioned before. Please fix this design flaw!! Will be trying other makes and models. ugh.”
