“I am a huge fan of Viva La Body's hair products so was keen to try the deodorant sticks. The positives: the cardboard tube packaging is great, the scent is refreshing without being overpowering and it does a reasonable job combating odour.
Unfortunately I can't rate it more than three stars because for whatever reason, the deodorant stick was rock hard and difficult to apply properly. I am not sure if it was just the one I received or something to do with the formula overall, but to apply enough I had to either put it in front of the heater for 10 minutes to soften it enough, or scrape a bit off the top, hold it in my palm for several minutes to soften it then apply. Eventually I pulled it out of the packaging, broke the stick up and melted it down with what was left of a softer natural deodorant and a bit of body oil to turn it into a paste which is easier to use. I would repurchase if they tweaked the formula a bit (I'd received a sample in a F&F box which was form but still easy to apply, so maybe it was a batch issue).”
